Confessions

Lately, I’ve discouraged myself from confusing the past to the people I’ve lied to. Not out of fear, I think I’m past that now, but I don’t want to force myself/my problem on them. Why interrupt what I assume/hope is a decent life with something forgotten from the past? While I’ve put a lot of thought into that recently, I haven’t thought about how I’d tell anyone. If I do this, I don’t think it’ll be very soon.

The Greenest Commercial Building in the World
Bullitt Center, The Miller Hull Partnership

“The Living Building Challenge has 143 registered projects in 10 countries. Its process is so demanding, however, that only three buildings in the United States have been fully certified so far; the largest of those is an eighth the size of the Bullitt Center.”

Aerial Shots of International Airports

I find airports mesmerizing. On the roads leading in, they look confusing and unnecessarily tangled. Inside, for the most part, they are easy to navigate but very segmented. From above, they look like a sprawling organic network of vines. All that and they still serve a tremendous purpose.
